[DE] Katholische Pfarrkirche St. Johannes Ap.
Erbaut in den Jahren 1867 und 1868 nach dem Plan des Dombaumeisters Friedrich von Schmitt als dreischiffige Basilika im neugotischen Stil. Von der alten Kirche (urkundl. Erwähnung 1230) sind noch die Untergeschosse des Turmes erhalten - mit Teilen des romanischen Turmes (12. Jahrh.).
Die Pfarrkirche St. Johannes Evangelist Thür wurde in den Jahren 1867 und 1868 nach einem Plan des Kaiserlich-Königlichen Hofbaurates Friedrich von Schmitt erbaut. Sie wurde am 04. Oktober 1868 durch den Bischof von Trier, Matthias Eberhard, zu Ehre des heiligen Apostels und Evangelisten Johannes eingeweiht. .
In den Jahren 1963 bis 1968 wurde das Innere der Kirche vollständig renoviert.
