SHULTE NO3 Reference Point - Wells Township, WI - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

Located on the West side just off of Jazz Road in the first tree line South of County Highway AA, this disk was one of four reference points for a horizontal control in 1970. The original disk was placed in 1930 and is just meters from this disk due West. Jazz Road itself is a dead end into a quarry so it is not that often used but does have work trucks travelling often don this road. The disk is by a white metal witness post which is next to the tree line and by a power pole. It's the closest WP to the road. Park on the side of the road but watch out for work trucks that are going to the quarry.
