In Lake Placid is this plaque and flower garden in front of the Olympic Center.
The center is located on the main street in the center of the village and is easily recognizable. The plaque is on a stone base for a sign for the center. Around the base is a modest flower garden.
The plaque has the following text:
"This garden is sponsored by The Lake Placid Lions Club and is dedicated to the memory of all past Lake Placid Lions. In the giving of their time and energy to Lake Placid and the International community, they have established a high standard of community service for those who follow.
