The hand prints are organised by NETIA Off Camera, an annual independent film maker festival held in Krakow.

This plaque was laid in 2013 to commemorate Josh Hartnett.

"Josh Hartnett was born on 21 July 1978 in San Francisco, but he spent his childhood and adolescence in Minnesota. As the star of the school football team, he used to dream about sports career, but a knee injury thwarted his plans. After taking part in a school performance of “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,” he decided to become an actor. He started to study acting in Minneapolis, in Youth Performance Company and then carried it on at the State University New York Purchase. After a year he discontinued and moved to Los Angeles. Initially he was appearing in advertisements, but soon after he arrived there, he was given a role in a sitcom, “Cracker”. He debuted on the big screen in 1988, in a horror, “Halloween H20: 20 Years Later,” in which he performed by the side of Jamie Lee Curtis. For the role of John Tate he was nominated to the Golden Popcorn award. The breakthrough in his career and popularity, came thanks to the role of a captain, Danny Walker, in a war melodrama, “Pearl Harbor” (2001) by Michael Bay. Other films in which the American actor performed include “Black Hawk Down” (2001), “40 Days and 40 Nights” (2002), “Wicker Park” (2004), “Sin City” (2005), “The Black Dahlia” (2006) and “August” (2008). He owns a producing company “Roulette Entertainment” whose main aim is to promote and support independent young filmmakers." link
