When viewing the Big People from FM 371, this Big John stands at the left (south), joined at his left (north) by a Uniroyal Gal, a Cowboy, another Big John and another Cowboy. He is 28' tall, with his arms wide open where he once held bags of groceries. The Roadside America site notes that Mr. Goode had the bags, but since his death, their disposition is unknown. Big John wears a blue shirt, with white lettering that advertises Mr. Goode's business. His slacks are a darker blue, held up by a black belt. Roadside America (see link) provides a blurb:

Big John No. 1 is a fiberglass statue that started life as a grocery clerk at a Big John food store before joining this community of giants. He's No. 1 because there's an identical Big John just a few feet away, also gazing out at the highway. Both were assembled and planted by Glenn Goode, a fan of the "Big People," after the pieces sat behind his work shed for a number of years.

Glenn Goode passed away in 2015; his Big People collection remains standing on the front lawn of his sandblasting business.

Glenn's will stipulated that the five towering fiberglass figures should remain in place for at least five years before they might be sold.

Glenn Goode's publicly visible display is one of only a few such Muffler Men clusters either owned by private collectors or part of a roadside attraction. His is the only one arranged in a chorus line.
