La pyramide de Sausheim est une stèle géodésique, c'est une mire qui a son homologue à Oberhergheim ! (WMT6V5)

Elle a été érigée en 1804 sous le règne de Napoléon 1er afin de mesurer la distance entre elle et celle de Oberhergheim ( 19,045 km ) dans le cadre de l'établissement d'une carte de la Suisse sous domination française.

La pyramide est composé de 8 blocs de grès rose superposés et d'une hauteur de 7m et est entourée de 12 bornes plus petites, disposées autour d'elle-même .

The pyramid of Sausheim is a geodesic stele, it is the test card which has his counterpart to Oberhergheim !(WMT6V5)

It was set up in 1804 under the reign of Napoleon 1st to measure the distance between her and that of Oberhergheim (19,045 km) within the framework of the establishment of a card of Switzerland under French domination.
