A memorial fountain honoring the memory of the victims of 9/11 is located in front of Fire Station #4 on the Grounds of the Eastern States Exposition on 1305 Memorial Avenue, West Springfield.

A memorial fountain is dedicated to the victims of the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 and especially the especially the 343 members of the New York City Fire Department who died that day in the line of duty. The fountain features gold painted fire hydrant surrounded by river stones. Water rises from the top of the fountain and falls back onto the stones. In addition water flows from two fire hoses located at the ten o'clock and two o'clock positions behind the hydrant, pour water onto the rocks.
In front of the fountain is granite brick inscribed SEPT. 11/NEVER FORGOTTEN. To the left rear are two granite slabs representing the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center. In front of them is a granite brick inscribed 343, a tribute to the 343 members of the New York City Fire Department who died on September 11, 2001. The upper right corner contains a statue of a fireman dressed in firefighting gear and holding a fire ax.
