The Monument with commemorative table honours town clerk of Niederkassel Karl-Josef Arnold who initiated the construction of the Mondorf harbour. It is located on a green area between Hafenstraße and the harbour.
The monument was built in 2005 and formed by the painter and sculptor Theodor Sprenger.
The bronze board (90x70cm) carries the relief of the head of Karl-Josef Arnold as well as symbols for the harbour and the city of Niederkassel and the text "Stadtdirektor von Niederkassel 1970 bis 1990".
