This building was built as the Abbott Brothers Barber Shop in 1968. Today it is the Sidney Abbott Barber Shop and is instilled as the classic hometown barber shop in Sparta, WI, USA. The classic pole hanging outside of the shop is a testament to days gone by. This barber pole is sealed in a clear tube hanging above the door on the corner of the building. The poles motor works well and rotes when the shop is open. Prior to the barber shop this lot was occupied by a livery station and then a Mobile Oil Gas Station.
