Das Bosehaus ist ein Bürgerhaus in der Nähe der berühmten Thomaskirche. 1985 wurde das Bosehaus auf einer Briefmarke der Deutschen Post (DDR) verewigt.

zur Briefmarke:
Die Briefmarke 'Bosehaus am Thomaskirchhof' stammt aus der Serie 'Leipziger Herbstmesse 1985' und wurde von Lothar Grünewald entwurfen. Die Briefmarke hatte einen Wert von 10 Pfennig und eine Auflage von 24.000 000. Drei dieser 24 Millionen Briefmarken liegen bei mir. ;D

zum Bosehaus:
Das Bosehaus wurde 1558 erstmals erwähnt und hat seinen Namen durch seinen Eigentümer Georg Heinrich Bosse, der das Gebäude 1710 umfangreich restaurieren ließ.
Heute befinden sich im Bosehaus das Bach-Archiv sowie das Bach-Museum.

The 'Bosehaus' is a middle class building near the famouse Thomskirche in the citycenter of Leipzig. In 1985 the Bosehaus was immortalized on a stamp of the 'Deutsche Post (DDR)'.

The stamp 'Bosehaus' is part of series 'Leipziger Herbstmesse 1985' and was designed by Lothar Grünewald. The stamp had a value of 10 Pfennig and a circulation of 24.000.000. Three of these 16 million stamps are mine. ; D

the 'Bosehaus':
The Bosehaus was first mentioned in 1558 and is named by its owner Georg Heinrich Bosse, who had extensively restored the building in 1710.
Today the Bach Archive and the Bach Museum are located in the Bosehaus.
