The Boston Market breast cancer awareness slogan is "Serving Up Hope. Fighting Breast Cancer", and that slogan forms a circle around three people made up of breast cancer ribbons. Below is the dedication:

A 1997 Boston Market press release (see website) provides some background about their breast cancer awareness program:

GOLDEN, Colo., May 9 /PRNewswire/ -- In honor of Mother's Day, Boston Market(R) is continuing its national commitment to support women and their families fighting breast cancer.

Throughout the month of May, Boston Market stores nationwide are displaying a pink ribbon -- the national symbol of breast cancer -- on their front doors to raise awareness of the importance of supporting women and families impacted by beast cancer. The ribbons feature the Boston Market breast cancer campaign slogan: "Serving Up Hope(TM). Fighting Breast Cancer."

Starting on Mother's Day, customers will receive complimentary colorful breast cancer awareness magnets that carry the toll-free number and website address of the National Breast Cancer Hotline operated by Y-Me. The magnets follow Boston Market's year-long distribution of millions of cards also featuring the hotline and website information. The 800-line, staffed with counselors who are themselves breast cancer survivors, provides callers with the hope, encouragement and compassion needed by women who are confronted with the devastating news they have breast cancer.

"Breast cancer affects the entire family, and families are at the heart of what we do," said Boston Market CEO and President Larry Zwain. "We want to make a difference in the lives of those families by focusing more attention and more resources to support families battling the disease."

Throughout May, many Boston Market stores across the country are implementing programs to support women and their families fighting breast cancer. For example, in Las Vegas, Phoenix and Tucson, all May cookie and brownie sales will benefit local charities that provide breast cancer education and patient support. In Alabama, Tennessee and Kentucky, all new stores will invite customers into the stores for free food during the company's employee training. In return, customers are asked to make a donation of their choice for national breast cancer support programs. In addition, Boston Market will continue to be a sponsor of special breast cancer events throughout the country such as the Y-Me 5K Race and the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in numerous cities.

Since Boston Market announced its support of women and families fighting breast cancer a year ago, permanent plaques and banners have been installed in each store as a reminder to customers of the importance of providing those women and families with support and as a symbol of the company's commitment to help. On Mother's Day last year, Boston Market began distributing millions of cards listing the toll-free hotline and website address operated by Y-Me. As a result of these efforts, hotline call volume increased by 60 percent and visitation to the website increased 20 percent.

Boston Chicken(R), Inc. franchises and operates retail food service stores under the Boston Market brand name that specialize in fresh, convenient meal solutions, featuring home style entrees; fresh vegetables; hot, carved sandwiches; salads and side dishes; including mashed potatoes made from scratch. Boston Market combines the freshness and quality of traditional home cooking with convenience and value. On Dec. 29, 1996 (the end of the company's 1996 fourth quarter), there were 1,087 Boston Market stores in 38 states and the District of Columbia.
