This mosaic mural depicts a parchment with a map of the Southwestern United States and Baja California with the Los Angeles area being shaded in red. "LOS ANGELES" is written at the bottom of the scroll and a small coat of arms for Timothy Manning who was the arch-bishop for Los Angeles, and later a Cardinal is seen. The date "1976-" can also be seen near the top.
