DE: Der Klopeiner See liegt auf 446 m Seehöhe. Er ist 1.800 m lang und 800m breit. Seine größte Tiefe ist 48 m. Der meeromiktische See hat eine Trennschicht (Sprungschicht) auf 21 m und somit bis in diese Tiefe Tageslicht. Die schönste Zeit zum Tauchen sind die Monate Mai, Juni, September und Oktober.
EN: The Klopeiner See is located 446 meters above sea level . It is 1,800 m long and 800 m wide. Its greatest depth is 48 m . The meeromiktische lake has a separating layer ( thermocline ) at 21 m and thus to this depth daylight . The best time for diving are the months of May, June , September and October .
