Located on the Southwest edge of the Bandera County Courthouse grounds, the monument is a simple granite slab with polished faces on both sides, with an inscription on the side facing Main street.

With deserving respect for all men and
women of every military department of the
United States Armed Forces, the
membership of faithful veteran comrade,
in Bandera County, unite in the formal
dedication of this monument to those
whose participation in the National Service,
their injuries, illness, suffering; and, their
supreme sacrifice, will forever be
commended and humbly honored.

veterans & auxiliaries, in
patriotic allegiance, to sanctify

The monument is located on the Southwest edge of the Bandera County Courthouse grounds, close to the main entrance of the courthouse public square. It is visible when driving through the town's Main Street.
