An den vier Seiten der grün-weiß gestreiften Säule sind vier Plaketten angebracht, auf der die Geschichte Borkums zusammengefasst ist.
Die Landkarte von Borkum, an der dieser geographische interessante Punkt durch einen Pin markiert ist, ist auf einem halbhohen, runden Stein angebracht. Zudem werden die vier Himmelrichtungen angezeigt und die Namen ausgewählter Orte in der entsprechenden Himmelsrichtung mit ihrer Entfernung angezeigt.

On the four side of the wooden column, which is coloured in green and white, you will see four plaques which tell you a summary of the history of Borkum.
The map of Borkum is placed on the round stone. The piece of land which is at the farthest north-east of Germany - this place - is marked on the map with a small pin.
