This log book for the Border Trail hikers is located in a drawer at the sign board at the trailhead parking lot. The 65 mile Border trail meanders through the Boundary Waters Canoe Area wilderness starting at the Gunflint Trail and heading east through the Minnesota Arrowhead. The path follows the Magnetic Rock trail for a mile and a half. The trail is maintained by the US Forest Service and volunteers from the Border Route Trail Association.
