À cet endroit, la rivière Magog tourne sur presque 45°. Il n'en fallait pas plus pour que l'ensablement soit propice à la formation d'un plan d'eau qui fait la joie de plusieurs durant les beaux jours d'été.
Le pédalo, le canoë, le kayak sont aussi à l'honneur.
