"Red Boy" von Kenny Hunter stammt aus der Ausstellung „Blickachsen 6“ (2007) (visit link) , war dort ein Publikumsmagnet und anschließend durch die Stadt Bad Homburg erworben.

Dieser kleine Junge stand damals vor dem Kaiser Wilhelms Bad - gegenüber dem überlebensgroßen, mächtigen Kaiser Wilhelm. Das Kunstwerk war extra für diesen Ort angefertigt worden. Nach dem Ende der Ausstellung konnte es aber dort nicht bleiben und wurde der Skulpturenallee hinzugefügt. (visit link)

Nachtrag:

Ende April 2017 wurde die Statue des Red Boy's am Bahnhof abgebaut und soll am Gotischen Haus wieder aufgebaut werden.
An seinen früheren Standort wurde eine neue Skulptur aufgestellt: Der Wächter von Erwin Noll.

Am 26.4.17 waren erste Erdarbeiten zu sehen, am 5.5.17 nur noch das Fundament in der Erde.

The statue "Red Boy" was made by Kenny Hunter in 2007 for the exhibition "Blickachsen 6". The city of Bad Homburg bought it afterwards.

The statue Red Boy was dismantled at the end of April 2017 from its position at the Skulpturenallee near the train station.
It was planned to relocate the statue into the garden of the Gotische Haus.
