This is one of two benches dedicated to John Dennis Casey at the Batiquitos Lagoon State Marine Conservation Area...but this one has a shade structure that is an Eagle Project.

The plaque at the site does not explain what the project is...but presumably it is the wooden structure with palm leaves above providing shared for the dedicated bench below. The plaque reads:
"EAGLE SCOUT PTOJECT

April 2015"
and on the bench
The plate reads:
"Come Sit a While With Me
The Best is yet to be
In Memory of
Beloved Son & Treasured Brother
