In Keene, within Robin Park, is this gazebo on a rise, overlooking a pond.
Robin Hood Park is a municipal park about a mile east of the center of Keene. From the center, take Roxbury Street to the entrance - look carefully, there are no signs by the road. There are a few parking areas. The gazebo is located on the east side of the pond. It is near the trailhead for a main trail into the woods.
The structure is made of wood. It is built with open space walls, like a fence, then posts at the corner to support the roof. At the pinnacle is a cupola with a miniature version of the roof. There are two open entrances. There is a standalone bench inside. The wood is stained rather than painted to have a more natural appearance.
The view is to the west of the pond, and to the southwest is a playground and picnic area. The area to the east is a slope and the path and woods is to the north.
