The tower has two identical clock faces - one facing south west and the other north east. As they are identical only one is described here.

The face appears to be almost new or an excellent job has been done on restoring it. The face is diamond shaped, appears to be made from wood and is painted blue. The hour and minute marks are painted directly on to the clock face in gold paint with the hour marks being Roman numerals. In the vertical corners of the face, that is above "XII" and below "VI", there is some decoration in the shape of a rose also painted on the face in gold paint. In the horizontal corners, "IX" and "III" there are the letters "E" and "G" that is assumed to be for "East Gate".

The hands are also coloured gold and are a basic design without tails.
