Der Fockeberg ist eine Trümmerkippe in der Leipziger Südvorstadt, die mittlerweile zu einem beliebten Ausflugs- und Naherholungsgebiet in Leipzig geworden ist. Ab 1947 wurde hier Trümmerschutt von abgetragenen Ruinen nach dem Ende des 2. Weltkrieg aufgehäuft.

From the artificial 'Fockeberg' you have a wonderful view at the city of Leipzig, the 'Südvorstadt' and the west 'Auewald'.
The 'Fockeberg' is a debris dump in the south of Leipzig, which has become a popular excursion- and recreation area. Starting from 1947 rubble of ruins was piled up after the end of WW2.
