Little known remains of the CCC Camp S-117 are the chimney and water hole. PLEASE RESPECT THIS AREA AS IT HAS LITTLE ACTIVITY AROUND IT FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND WOULD BE NICE TO KEEP IT THIS WAY !

The Civilian Conservation Corp Camp S-117 located in Birdsall NY was operated around the mid 1930's (1936-1937). The camp had two projects it was connected with project 250 and 1287. They helped reforest several New York State Forests nearby after major amounts of logging had been done in this area.
