It was here that some of the local geocachers got together for a CITO Event in April 2016. Just downstream we found a 'yabbie trap' but it had a Red-bellied Black snake in it! I was told (at the CITO) that the rail bridge is still active (that they can't hide geocaches near the rail line), but it seems from Wikipedia that the line is only used now for the enthusiast's steam train rides.
The bridge was also the base for a "Lab Cache" at the Queensland Stanthorpe OzMega at Easter, 2015.
Bridge Type: Truss

Bridge Usage: Railroad

Moving Bridge: This bridge is static (has no moving pieces)
