Location of Lions Park: W. Boonslick Rd. (old US-40), between 3rd St. & Gladstone Ave., with the railroad tracks on the S. side
Maintained and run by the Jonesburg Lions Club

I could not find a web site that talks about the park itself, or its history, but found a few that refer to the park.

There are two signs posted inside the park;
Sign 1 reads:

This is the city park where everything takes place, except political speeches.
The have an annual Christmas Parade, and instead of just a Queen they have a Queen & Princess event....also within this park the hold the annual Duck Races.

Also, within this park is a HUGE children's playground section. It has it's own parking and restrooms. Bigger little kids have their equipment, and marked off area, and little little kids have their own also.
On the west end of the park is a huge field, used for parking during annual events, but also holds football games, and at the far western end are two ball fields for softball or baseball.
In the middle id a very large pavilion with plenty of picnic table under it's roof.
Cooking shed, and storage shed completes the building inventory.
