Memorial Auditorium, originally named Municipal Auditorium, was built in 1927 at 1300 7th Street in Wichita Falls. Some say it was constructed on the bluff of the last Indian battle in 1870, the Battle of the Little Wichita River, between the 6th U.S. Calvary and the 100 Kiowa Indians and Chief Kicking Bird.
