Two costumed figures share this timber framed & brick building, Once owned by William Rowley, a wealthy Merchant. In 1681 Rowley decided to build an extension to his home, which was the first brick house in Shrewsbury. For centuries the building has been known as Rowley's House.
The house became the County Museum, (now relocated) Rowley's House is vacant at the moment but due to become part of the campus of Shropshire University.

"The lady in fine period costume has been seen to rest upon a bed displayed upstairs. She was also seen at the bed's original location in the building.

The other visitor is a male who seems oblivious to the lady - a lovers' tiff perhaps?

He is in a costume of the same period but has been seen long before her arrival and was "attending" the house long before it became a museum." Text Source; (visit link) & (visit link)
