Deep in the shadows of the trees of Redwood Park you can find a village of fairy homes. Being tree dwellers the fairies enjoy their home here where children can be enchanted by their presence.

A few years ago a few fairy doors started to appear at base of the many trees in an area of Redwood Park not far from the playground. Then some vandals came and removed most of the fairy doors. Parents and children responded over the past two years by putting fairy doors and other wonderful objects to capture the imagination.
The one shown here is one of the oldest in the park. And the fairy who lives inside is old and wise keeping watch over the new fairies that come to live here.
