This area is located off of Hwy 26 near Lake McConaughy. The site includes an information area detailing wagons used when traveling the Oregon Trail. There is also a short trail that can be hiked to see the entire valley. There is a sod house near the entrance to the site that can be closely examined with cactus growing on the roof.
