This metal arch is over the entryway of the Buzzard Cemetery. The arch is wrought iron with flower scrollwork on each side. The main arch is flat part way on each side with a central curved arch. The words "Buzzard Cemetery" appear on that central arch.
This small Buzzard Cemetery is located north of Grove, Ok. at N 55th Street and 63rd Street. There are about 1000 gravesites in the cemetery. I have found several families in different cemeteries with the last name of "Buzzard" so my guess is that this cemetery has connections to one of those branches of the family.
