Zippy visited the Gourmet Dinner House and talked with the waitress, Shirley. Zippy suggested they rob the cash register of $300 and head off to Fresno for a crime spree.

The Gourmet Dinner house was fenced off and inaccesible when I visited it. It appears to be another casualty of what I call the "Zippy curse". Zippy places seem to be prone to dying. I was unable to get an interior shot like the center pane, so I only have outside shots.

Zippy made his visit in 2007, and a yelp review indicates that the place was open in 2011, after being closed for a while.

The outside sign seems kind of famous for it's sputnik design at the very top.
