Suffice it to say that the lay of the land has changed considerably since this disk was placed, as the referenced gravel road is now FM 1198. The disk is on the east side of FM 1198, very north of CR 318, but just south of a private road that goes out to a farmhouse. It is probably best to put the disk's coordinates into your GPS and follow them. Keep in mind that the disk is inside the barbed wire fence line, and it is near a utility pole and a tree. There are many such here, but in conjunction with the coordinates, this is an easy find. There is a reference shot with a distant farm house that can be handy, too.

Be careful of traffic here. It's not crazy busy, but there are plenty of vehicles making their way through Cooke County along this route.
