DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1959 (CAA) THE STATION IS LOCATED ABOUT 4.0 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF THE DOWNTOWN SECTION OF NASHVILLE AND NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF WOODMONT BLVD. AND U.S. HIGHWAY 431. THE SPIRE IS PAINTED WHITE IN COLOR AND IS 210 FEET IN OVERALL HEIGHT. THE TOP OF THE CROSS WAS THE POINT OF INTERSECTION.
