At the 'Pähler Schlucht' (Canyon of Pähl) outside of Pähl, Germany, Bayern exist the ruins of a building which was used to collect water for the castle 'Hochschloss' on top of the nearby hill.

You have to hike a small footpath through the canyon to get access to the old building. It's in bad condition. The roof is heavy demaged.
The 'Wasserhaus' (Water House) was built arround 1880. The technical equipment for the collection of water is still there, but it is not used any more.

It is listed in the German Monument Registers.
