VFW Post 382 is located at 1515 S. Rock Island Ave. (Highway 81). In front of the VFW parking lot is this restored Douglas B-26 Invader. The plane, originally designated as Douglas A-26 before 1947 or 1948, is a twin-engined light bomber and attack aircraft that was built by Douglas Aircraft Company during World War II which also saw service during several major Cold War conflicts.
