Springlake Waterfall - Oklahoma City, OK - Man-made Waterfalls on Waymarking.com

Metro Tech is located where in the 1950s and 1960s a thriving amusement park called Springlake was operating. Today, the campus contains numerous buildings, with a remaining lake at the southwest campus.

Park in front of one of the buildings in the southwest area (see parking coordinates below). Walk around the west side of the building to this lovely lake. A fountain is there to enjoy, and an old wooden pedestrian suspension bridge across one end of the lake.

Across the lake, this waterfall brings water into the lake from a height of about fifteen feet. The water flows over a series of native sandstones in a very picturesque manner. We came in the late afternoon, when the sun was lower, and it was a peaceful and beautiful sight.
