M113 A2 APC in Light Recovery Vehicle (LRV) configuration. This APC is in British Army paint and numbering scheme. It was used primarily with the British Army Training Unit in Suffield, AB (BATUS). On retirement it was a gift to the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (RCEME) from their British counterparts at CFB Borden (REME).

Presentation plaque reads:

APC Recovery Vehicles: Fully tracked, light armoured M113A2. Fitted with a hydraulic winch and a fairlead assembly for recovery of disabled vehicles. Mounted on each side by the ramp at the rear of the hull are spades which are lowered to the ground during recovery operations. It carries two cranes: one HIAB crane and one Auxiliary crane. Known as a Maintenance Recovery Vehicle.

The APC is available for viewing 24/7 however visitors are reminded that this is an active military base and that troops and security procedures always have priority.
