West of Marietta on Memorial Road is a body shop which has been in business for almost 70 years. Among the derelict, rusted vehicles and conglomeration of decades of neglect, are three cabooses which have been left to rot.

Having little information on them, we are Waymarking them as a group of three and describing as best we can what we found.

* (1) The easternmost caboose is a standard cupola style, painted red and unmarked. on its side is a window which appears to be a residential window, and perhaps this was someone's residence in the past.

* (2) West of this caboose is an ATSF caboose which a faded emblem of Santa Fe. It is a standard cupola caboose painted green.

* (3) The third is a standard cupola painted red which also might have been a residence at some time. It has been fitted with a glass residential door, with a small A/C unit on the side.

We don't know what to say about these treasures. It broke our hearts to see them like this.
