"A registered sex offender has been charged with causing the death of a 29-year-old woman while she was being brutally and sexually assaulted in a Stanton motel room.

Charles Patrick Drew, 62, a transient, was charged with one felony count of special circumstances murder in the commission of rape, sodomy, and oral copulation, according to a news release from the Orange County District Attorney's Office." (visit link)
