At the 'Dorotheenstraße' in Stuttgart, Germany, Baden-Württemberg stands the building 'Hotel Silber'. A sign with the history of this building is attached at the outer wall. It states that it was used to hold people here without trial.

The building was first used as a hotel. Later as office building for post and telegraph. And than for different kinds of police work. During the Nazi aera it was also used as prision for people from Germany and from other contries. On 13th April 1945 four prisoners have been murdered by the Geheime Staatspolizei without any trial.

In diesem Gebäude wurden während der Herrschaft des Nationalsozialismus Menschen aus dem In- und Ausland Opfer von Terror und Gewalt. Ohne Gerichtsurteil wurden hier am 13.April 1945 durch die Geheime Staatspolizei vier Personen erhängt, die in diesem Gebäude inhaftiert waren.
Wir gedenken der Opfer des Unrechts mit dem Bekenntnis zum demokratischen Rechtsstaat.'

(In this building were during the reign of Nazism people from home and abroad victims of terror and violence. Without court ruling four people were here on April 13, 1945 by the Gestapo hanged, who were imprisoned in this building.
We remember the victims of injustice with the commitment to the democratic constitutional state.)
