This caboose is displayed at the Bartlesville Depot at the end of a steam train that consists of just the 2-10-2 Santa Fe type steam engine, its tender, and oil tank car, and then the caboose, all on a separate section of track that is just long enough for these items, and not connected to the main track at all.

The public is allowed to climb into the caboose. In fact, at times the public is invited to also climb into the cab of the locomotive.

The caboose has its own web page that describes its journey from construction in 1948 for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe; through its years of neglect in the 1970s; and its restoration starting in 2011.
