A Border Patrol checkpoint station along Interstate 5 in northern San Diego County, just south of San Clemente.

The Border Patrol Station does check incoming traffic, but usually in the early morning hours from 12am-3am when trafficking is more likely to occur. There are transport vehicles along with a parking lot of Border Patrol squad cars. There is also a weigh station for semis.

I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
