La technologie IMAX®, à partir d’une pellicule de format 70 mm avec 15 perforations, ce qui permet d’obtenir une image 10 fois plus grande qu’avec une ancienne pellicule de 35 mm.
Le Kinémax, édifice haut de 35 mètres, symbolise des cristaux de roches jaillissant du sol. Plus de 20 000 heures d’études géométriques ont été nécessaires pour le dessiner. Ses 3000 plaques miroitantes couvrent une surface de 4250 m².

The IMAX technology, from 70 mm format film with a perforation 15, which allows to obtain an image 10 times greater than with an old film of 35 mm.
The Kinemax, 35-meter tall building symbolizes crystals rocks gushing from the ground. More than 20 000 hours of geometrical studies were necessary for the draw. Its 3,000 shimmering plates cover an area of 4250 m².
