The aviary of Olten, usually called Vögeligarten, was founded 1921. It is managed by a nonprofit association and mostly funded by donation.
The aviary is located behind the reformed church Friedenskirche in a small park with a playground. The site has about 250 birds to watch and inside there is also a rare fully operational 19th century nickelodeon.
