This little sandstone marter is placed on the east side of Großschwarzenlohe, near the Schwarzach river. In the direct vicinity of the marter there is a conciliation cross and the war memorial.

The marterl (German term for little stone or wooden chapel) is very old, and no details are longer visible. The only information about it on the side is, that it comes from pre-reformation times.
Year of creation: pre-reformation

Material: sandstone
