Dome's philosophy is to use heritage listed buidings if possible , but at Bassendean you can have your coffee and cake or meal in the first rail dining-car built in Western Australia in 1908 for the W.A.G.R., the carriage was in a sad state of disrepair until it was transformed to it's former glory over 18 months and installed on the upper level of the Bassendean Shopping Centre.
The Cafe is open for breakfast from 0630 each day and closes at 2100 Sunday to Wednesday and 2200 Thursday to Saturday
