On the Baarg in Wittelte there is a statue of a primitive concrete image of a man with a sword in his hand.
Jacob Snoeken, a local farmer and artist and also the owner of the monument the Baarg and has this statue made in 1987.
The picture is Witto, a not verifiable historical figure should represent past Wittelte.
To complete the statue there is a low wooden fence. Should that prevent the cows in the pasture around the current image can verroppen?
Near the statue is a flagstaff. This mast seems to be a waste of lamppost called rejuvenated type (one snapped example from the municipality Westerveld?).
Statue is unreachable, private grounds.
