This Blue Plaque is located on The Old Fire Station on Shrewsbury Road, in Shifnal. In 1913 a local builder, W.A. Pointon, gave land and built the Fire Station to replace the original in the Town Hall.
The Fire Station closed in the 1970's and was refurbished by the Town Council. The building is now occupied by The Shifnal Local History Group.
