This mosaic is situated in Gelsenkirchen-Bismarck and it is mounted above the entrance of the Christuskirche.
The church is a monument since 1986 and was built from 1899 to 1901 by the architect Alex Trappen from Bielefeld.
They say this mosaic arose in the construction period.
It shows us Jesus blessing the faithful.
