The Mateerhorn is said to be haunted by a ghost of a woman who died there in the 1980s. Dolly Young was in the bobsled ride when she unbuckled her seat belt to help a child in the seat in front of her. She was killed when her body hit an above track. Cast members have said that her ghost haunts the ride, especially when they have to do a track walk trough.
